Most South African pool water is highly mineralized water.
Under certain conditions factors such as incorrect pH or other chemical factors may trigger reactions between pool chemicals and/or between minerals resulting in mineral deposits (stains) on pool surfaces or discoloration of water.
Depending on the original cause, Everblue Stain Remover was formulated to assist in the improvement and removal of certain types of staining. Fresh deposits are much easier to remove than old stains. More stain remover granules might be necessary for more stubborn stains, but if the situation persists consult a pool service professional.
Size: 2 kg. Black stains (usually fresh copper chloride) Reddish brown stains (rust-usually concentrated in spots) Fibreglass/Vinyl: Dull grey to brown stains (usually iron) Blue stains (fresh copper deposits) Light brown stains (calcium-metal deposits, usually on pool floor).
Directions for use: Stop the pool pump and wait for the pool water to calm. Sprinkle the stain remover granules in the water, over the stains, so that it drops down on the stains. Allow 20 minutes for stain removal and then run the pool pump as before. For stubborn stains, brush vigorously after 20 minutes and repeat the process. For best results adjust the pH between 7.0-7.2 before adding Stain Remover. Check and adjust pH before swimming.
