Active Shock combines a powerful chlorine shock with a Pool Gel Filter sachet so you can shock and clear your pool.
The Pool gel additive immediately gets to work to remove dead algae, harmful organisms, and other oxidised waste. Size: 530 g.
Contents: Calcium hypochlorite shock plus one filter flocculent sachet.
Use only as directed (for swimming pools only): Remove filter pool gel sachet before adding chlorine. Adjust pH to 7.2-7.6 before use and again on the day after use (if necessary). Use a sachet per 50 000 liters.
Important: when using more than 1 dose of Active Shock in larger pools it is not necessary to also add additional flocculant sachets: 1 dose should be enough even for larger pools. Always add product in the evening. Ensure that filter runs for a minimum of 12 hours after treatment, followed by a backwash.
For vinyl or lined pools, pre-mix Shock in a bucket of water before adding to the pool.
Treatment options: Method 1: Shock only: Remove Pool Gel filter sachet from the bag and discard. Sprinkle half the contents of the bag into the deep-end, and the balance throughout the rest of the pool as with any other shock treatment.
Method 2: Shock and Clear: same as method 1 above but combined with 1 sachet pool gel filter sachet. After adding chlorines to the pool, unplug your Automatic Pool Cleaner and pour contents of filter sachet into the weir basket while the filter is running, so that the Pool gel filter can speed up the hole process by trapping dead algae and other waste in the filter: Note: it may be necessary to backwash again after 48 hours to remove any remaining waste (optional).
Warning: do not store once opened. Handle with care. Active Shock is a strong oxidising agent.
Contact with heat, acids, combustibles, or other organic materials (paint products, detergents, oils, petrol, refuse, any foreign matters etc.) may cause fire. Contact with acids liberates toxic gas.
In case of fire drench with water. Avoid contact with skin and eyes as it may cause burns.
Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons, and animals.
Precautions: Never mix this product with anything except water. Store in a cool and dry place away from other materials. Avoid contact with clothing.
First Aid: Eye contact: Flush with water for 15 minutes. Seek medical attention. Skin contact: Remove excess chemicals by brushing and flush with water for 20 minutes. Seek medical attention if irritation persists. If swallowed: Do not induce vomiting. Drink large amounts of water and seek medical attention. Inhalation: Remove person to fresh air. Seek medical attention.
